John Rowan, CPA, CFE

John Rowan, Managing Member, Veteran US Army 1970-1972, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, husband and father of two (grown) children. Mr Rowan started his career in 1975, and founded Rowan & Associates CPAs in 1993 to explore better ways of helping his clients identify their changing financial challenges. Not only in terms of finding dishonest employees, but in translating the problems solved in other places, into benefits realized by you the current client. Mr. Rowan has published several articles about stopping employee embezzlement in professional newsletters, and teaches an anti-fraud class as needed.

David K. Sheppard, CPA

David K. Sheppard, CPA is a member of Rowan & Associates, CPA’s PLLC. He graduated with honors from Milton High School in 1993 and with honors from Marshall University in 1997. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. His specialties within the firm include not for profit accounting and auditing, tax preparation, tax research, and small business accounting. He is a member of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
